The Bulldogs beat Fremantle in round 12 this year at Optus Stadium, not last year as may have been mentioned in the podcast. Bevo tends to bristle when someone claims that his defence struggles and I think he has a good case. The Bulldogs currently have the second best defence in the league (three points from first position). As far as I can tell, the Bulldogs have only played two games this season against teams that have a number of tall key position attackers. The Bulldogs conceded 93 points against the West Coast Eagles in round 2 and conceded 83 points against Geelong in round 14. West Coast averages 90 points per game and Geelong averages 88 points per game this season. Where is the evidence that the Bulldogs defence struggles against tall attacks?
