The Australian Open 2023
The Australian Open, which is the first Grand Slam tournament in the tennis calendar, will take place in Melbourne Park in January 2023. In the men’s tournament, Australia’s hopes for glory are Alex de Minaur and Nick Kyrgios, who made it to the final of Wimbledon this year, ultimately losing to Novak Djokovic in four sets and as reported by abc.net.au, the Canberra-born tennis star divided opinion along the way. In the women’s tournament, following the shock retirement of World number one Ashleigh Barty, Australia’s best chances rest on the shoulders of Ajla Tomljanovic and Daria Saville.
