Hi Rohan and Mark,
With regard to trialling the proposed new rule changes such as the mandatory starting positions for each game stoppage, why can’t the AFL start trialling them in AFL games this season between sides already assured of a bottom 8 finish?
Round 19 Carlton v Gold Coast for example. Sure it might give some weaker clubs a head start, but isn’t the AFL all about giving weaker clubs a leg up anyway?
